What guns do you insist on buying before you die?

I thought of this after the "bucket" thread,

when I read the title, this is what I thought it meant.

Anyway

M1A
Some sort of AR
SIG P226 or P229
A really nice 1911 (actually several: .45 ACP, .38 Super, 10MM..or get that 10MM in a S&W 3rd Gen.)
Garand
Remington 700 Police
Weatherby Mark V
Maybe a Sako 85

These are my dad's wish list, but I like them too

Browning Hi-Power
Ruger No. 1
M1 Carbine

Well, here I go. The last enemy to be put under foot is death. So I'll go ahead and state that there are way to many guns on my list for me to die in the next 200 years. So there you have it, I'll look way funny and probably smell but I'll be happy.

Like Joe said above, I always wanted a Colt Woodsman. I was lucky enough to come across 3 in the past 20 years so that itch has been scratched.
About the only one that I would really like is a Weatherby XXII tube feed. Not the new ones, the older semi-auto. I can remember back in the 80s when they were on sale for $329. Even though I had shot a friend's and wanted one bad, I thought that was too much for a .22 rifle.

S&W686 4"
SP101 shrouded hammer
Glock 19
Springfield 1911 in 45
Fal
550 Sig

I could write all night long.

When it comes to guns I look at my collection and as it grows I am not looking for more guns to acquire and hold in ownership. I would love to shoot more and enjoy life. It is not about owning things so much as using them to a purpose.

I'm dead set on picking up:

A military style AK (my Saiga is unmodified)

A coachgun

Smith and Wesson model 29 or similar

WWII style Thompson (replica is ok)

A nice single action revolver like a SAA

1911a1

Saiga 12

I think that should make me pretty happy,

Im pretty easy to please since i don't have alot of money so i set my "wishes" low and obtainable.

Dan Wesson 1911 in 10mm
Colt New Agent
.308 in evil black, BAR or FN FAL, or Cetme and even a AR platform and pray i can afford the ammo to shoot it once in a while.
50's-70's style police riot 12 gauge.
Possibly a mid grade pellet air rifle for popping squirrels out my bedroom window since i cant use real guns where i live.
Beretta 87 target .22lr

A M1911 manufactured in 1918 or earlier. Already have my 1918 Luger.

Something about a personal sidearm that served in the two largest conflicts in modern history appeals to me.

In Order...
1) 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Carbine (I WILL have one someday!)
2) Springfield Armory M1A
3) Smith & Wesson Model 41
4) MSAR STG-556

Have a feeling when I kick the bucket I'll have something 'on order.'

Now there is a guy I would like to shoot with!!

what do I want?

Ruger No. 1 ---not sure what cartridge to get it in yet...
Winchester 87 or reproduction.. (probably a Norinco)
Springfield Trapdoor chambered in 45-70, repro or refinish would be fine...
Ruger Blackhawk in 44 spcl... dont ask why... I dont even know myself.
1911 chambered in 9mm as well as one in 38 super (to go with my 45 acp and 40)...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND, perhaps a single shot bolt action 50 BMG JFTHOI..I like the looks of the AR-50 and Black Arrow.) It is more likely, however, that I will forgo that last one for another more useful and practical long range cartridge...
