What guns do you insist on buying before you die?

The surprising answer (Enfield #4, Non-sport.) might be brought inside on somebody's shoulder at tomorrow's Memphis gun show.

My wood/ss Mini 30 will be on the left shoulder, or in the Ruger bag.

After reading the Blue Press review on the .50 GI 1911, I might have to try one of those one day.

Honestly, most of the "grail guns" I have sought and bought, I have subsequently sold. Maybe the thrill of the chase was > the satisfaction of acquiring/shooting them. Maybe I have finally learned that lesson.

That said, these days, I really don't have anything on my list.

I would have to complete my US Military armory:
M1 Garand (owned:D)
Springfield M1903
Remington Rand 1911
SA M14
"The Pig"
and to top it off, a 'Ma Deuce'

Nothing fancy.

gettin older

There were two guns, both rifles, that I wanted to own before I became a memory to my sons. The two were an Anschutz Biathlon rifle and some sort of double rifle.
I have both.
Now there are two more.....both shotguns. I'd like to own a custom 16 ga. flintlock fowler and a quality Trap gun like a Kreighoff or a Perazzi. That last may just stay a dream, the other is on order, due Spring of 2012.

Beretta 51, tokegypt or the other 9mil Hungarian tok
a FN 49 in 308 or 7mm
a MAS 49 or 49/56

a JP Sauer 1930 and behorden, and 1938
Early CZ

I'd like a Browning 1886 Winchester clone 45/70 levergun.
I'd like a English double rifle in .470
I'd like a M1 Garand
I'd like a early 1911 Colt Auto
I wish S&W would make a 5 shot 41 magnum on their L frame, I'd like one of these with a 5 inch barrel.

With some time I'm sure I could think of more. :D

Jonah71, #11, I'd like to have my 4" Python back too, had to sell to pay off a bill.
monte61, #46, This one I do have, beautiful firearm, one day soon I hope you have one just like it, don't give up hope!

1887 Marlin/Ballard Pacific #2, 45-70 just like my buddy has, bought it from the family that had it for over 100 years.
The Browning BDA .380 I had several years ago
The Beretta 1935 .380 I saw on the for sale section of this forum last night, it would match the Beretta 1935 .32 auto I just bought a month ago
A lifetime supply of ammo for my Pop's Savage 250-3000 I now have
