What have you bought so far this year?

Both my parents passed this year, so I inherited Dad's SP101 stainless .38 and my grandfathers Savage 1912 .32 auto. I also have my moms Colt Agent in .38. I did purchase a Springfield 1911 A1 in stainless. It's a darn shame that they were all lost in another tragic boating accident....

This year--one year of college for one grandkid--- 2 more to go.
If I am still around in 2 years I will be able to buy another gun.

Three 30 round Pmags for my AR
Three 30 round Tapco mags for my Saiga conversion
A Primary Arms red dot (blem, great bargain)
UTG two point sling
Plan on buying a Stoeger M3000

All of which will be lost in a tragic boating accident.

Springfield Armory M1 Garand with 308 barrel and National Match sights...not bad for seven bills.

Stag Arms AR build.
Ruger SR22 c/w Vortex red/green dot.
1947 Winchester 94 with Williams pep sights.
Springfield XD45 Tactical.

I think I screwed up, the wife suggested that I reduce my inventory.

This year? How about this month:

  • S&W 4567 (the start of it all)
  • SW1911 Pro
  • S&W SD9 VE (for the wife)
  • Wish List: S&W 645 or 4506
  • Wish List: S&W M&P Shield (for the wife)

Yeah, I got it bad ...

Started the year with a Martini in .303. Then a Ward and son in 450/577. Bought a "fake" BHP with the idea of using it as a base gun since my "real" BHP is pristine and it would be a shame to butcher it. Got a nice Hardballer with a very low serial number(first 10) and a Remington Rand also in 45. Fell over a HK P7 M13 and love it. Paid through my nose for a "Made specially for ZAR" Wesley-Richards Martini.

Friends spoke about my remarkable run of finding guns that I was looking for where my wife could hear so gun purchases would be severely curtailed until the dust settles.

I keep my guns at the gun shop where I work.
