I have had all of the pistols in the list at one point in time or another. The only one I have left is the Glock 17. It works best for me and what I want out of a pistol. I am fond of the Browning Hi-Power, but I hate the long or lack of a trigger reset.

Guess if any one was "best" it would control the market.

If I was spending my own money for a 9mm it would go to John Browning's classic Hi-Power, no contest.

A CZ or Baretta? Maybe. If I couldn't find a Hi-Power anywhere.

Glock polymer, etc? No. Plastic guns aren't made for me!

(Actually, I'm a big boy now so I'll stick to my deadly old steel .45ACP/1911 GI. It was made for serious shooting, not "spray and pray" in hopes of scaring bad guys to death. But, that wasn't the question and I digress...:D)

None really appeal to me but if those were the only choices I would take the one with fewest levers, safties,......GLOCK would be my pick from that litter.

Well my beretta isn't Italian but it shoots great and hasn't failed me yet. Close second is gonna be CZ75 followed by Glock.

Denali,

Beyond this post, you're simply not worth my time or effort.

Out of your poll I would go with the G19, its just the best all around size and weight and a great, simple gun.

Well, if you are going to be issued a M9, it might be nice to have the Beretta. If it were me and I could only have one, I would go with a G19. Realistically for you, try them all out and get the one that fits you best.
