Hello friends and neighbors// Izhmash Saiga in rem.223

500 rounds for $100.00 +-
With the Tapco upgrade, especially the adjustable shoulder stock it is very versatile and multiuser friendly.
Had a side rail with a cheap red dot but went back to irons. I mostly shoot 100 - 150 yards max.

Here is an inventory pic when somewhat new:

I own a Polish model 1960. From the research I've gathered about this particular gun, 3,000 of these were found in a bunker and stripped of their receivers. The parts kits were then shipped to the US and rebuilt into civilian legal AK variants using milled receivers built by ATM or About Time Machining. I'm pretty happy with mine and it's a well built AK. I bought this particular rifle for 699 at a local gun store. I did replace the slant muzzle brake that came with it with an AK-74 style brake and it now has much less muzzle flip making follow up shots quicker.

Lancaster Arms 3076-478 AK 47 1.6mm Receiver, 6 pos stock, SAW PG, UTG quad rail, AK-74 style brake, Romey G parts, G2 Trigger. (has a micro dot now)

I own a WASR-10 and love it. Every AK you'll buy in this country is going to be ridiculously overpriced against the world's AK standard price. $5 in Africa vs. $500 for a WASR here? Crazy. I don't think the more expensive AK's can justify their price. Sure, they look nice but if you went anywhere in the world, chances are you would have a piss poor one. Might as well save as much money as you can and use what militias, armies, and criminals use all over the world (lower grade). I doubt they're packing Arsenal SAR-1's in Somalia.

Century Yugo M70 with the underfolder and the el-cheapo polymer handguards that nobody but me seems to like. It's a good shooter and the Yugo model is nice because it's heavier built and the angle of the underfolder is an improvement over other versions IMO. Mine has the gas block-off and sights for use with rifle grenades.

A friend of mine has the cheesiest WASR-10 with the hacked-out mag well, canted sights, pallet wood stocks, and wicked trigger-slap. Despite all that, once you adjust for the sights it is actually quite accurate out to 100yds!

Got an unconverted saiga 223 and live it. Good quality rifle for the money, doesn't hurt that it's made by izmash.

WASR-10, Aimpoint Micro, folder, gas tube with scope mount built in, came with a good trigger. No malfunctions of any kind, ever.

The folder keeps my face away from the metal!

Bought it from a Pawn Shop, a customer came in with two identical Rifles, original canvas slings, I was third back in the line up, seller, an other Guy, and me. We both said I want one! Three months later, I had my AK47, I offered $465.00 boss said yes, just like new!

Micro Aimpoint came off a rifle I sold. My Photo Lady will do a Photo? Soon, I will add it. If you need to put a hole in something, 762X39 seems a good option.

Bought my MAK90 brand new in 93', never fell in love with it, sets alot....this past year I stripped it an stained it an then put PTO on it...looks better, its a solid gun. I like all my other guns better...It can be lots of fun though with the gang, I use it mainly for bump firing, an got over 1000 rds for it....when Red Dawn comes I figure its a simple rifle for my youngest son to have to put down suppressive fire with the 75 rd drum an not worry about changing out mags as quick.

I ultimately decided to abandon the AK rifle platform in favor of the VZ.58...but I still like my Saiga-12 scattergun:

I've owned a WASR, Yugo M70, and a Bulgarian AKM (not sure which one) But by far the Bulgarian and the Yugo took the cake the WASR was just a w/e gun. They have all functioned fine but the difference was in accuracy, how long I could fire it before the barrel got too hot to touch and the finish. But honestly they all went boom every time I pulled the trigger.

i have an Arsenal SGL20 and i love it. i swopped out the plastic for some wood furniture. i got this arsenal before they jacked up the prices. still a great gun and would not settle for anything less. ive blasted jack rabbits out to 100yds with this thing (with red dot and weapon light). yeah, it's accurate!

I own a Romy and a Yugo underfolder... I lucked out on the Romy, it shoots pretty accurate and is very well made compared to other Romy's i've seen.. Haven't taken an updated pic of the Romy but here's the Yugo...

Built my AK from a kit, so far it has held up pretty well. Still haven't gotten around to painting the receiver yet, but it is still very functional.:)

So far I am very impressed with the accuracy of the iron sights. One big ragged hole at ~40yds, and about 3" groups at 100yds.
