I'm just wondering what press(s) everybody owns. It's multiple choice if you have more then one. I personally have a Lee Single stage and love it

I have a RCBS Rockchucker for when I want to load for accuracy and a Dillon 650 when I want to load in bulk.

Started with a Dillon 450 (~three years ago). Moved up to a 550 a year later.
I was given an old Rock Chucker about a year ago.
I use the RC for loads of ~10 rounds or so.

Press(s)??

I have an older RockChucker on the right side of my load bench.
"" "" "" "" Dillon RL550 "" "" "" left "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "".
For back up, I have a spare Redding Boss+RCBS JR-2

The "Back Ups" have NOT been used by me yet??? Bill.;)

I use 2 single stages - a Lee C-frame and a Lee Challenger. I'd love to move up to a faster setup (either a Lee Classic Turret or a progressive - looking at both Hornady and Dillon there), but I've always put it off. It might be slower, but single stage gets the job done for now.

RCBS Rockchucker

Does anyone out there have a Forster Coax? Just curious on what opinions are about it.

I have all of them. The Lee hand one I have is a "hand me down" and not used except to show people how basic one can reload.
Single stage presses for seldom used operations and a select few high precision loads.
Turrents for a bunch of calibers that only have 50 rounds or so loaded at a time, this saves money on progressive conversions and time swapping from one caliber to another.
7 progressives account for 97% of the total rounds I load.

1980 vintage RCBS Reloader Special and a Redding Boss single stage presses. Rifle cartridges loaded on the Redding. RCBS retired from regular service for special tasks.

One Hornady L-N-L progressive and two Dillon SDBs. for handgun. I cartridge change the Dillons by swapping them out of the operating position.

I have two Hollywood Senior presses, one RCBS Rockchucker, one Hornady LNL and one Magma Case Master Jr. on my benches. They're used for loading ammunition and swaging bullets.

For shotgun loading, I have a MEC 9000GN and a MEC Sizemaster.

Hope this helps.

Fred

My choices finally suit me after 35 years.

RCBS RockChucker that I have had almost as long as I have been loading and will continue to have for as long as I do. Rarely sees any use, but is there if I need it. Plenty leverage and extremely rigid.

Lee Classic Turret I got last year to replace two progressives I was never happy with. Keeping track of multiple simultaneous operations was not relaxing to me; my turret is plenty fast enough, caliber swaps are dead simple and I can get "into the zone" of reloading with quiet, concentrated attention. It suits me.

100 to 200 of each caliber per loading session, maybe two or three calibers per session once or twice a month.

I have two benches. One has a Redding Big Boss II and a Rock Chucker Jr. The other bench has a Pro 2000 auto index. I use my singles all the time still but mass loading is done on the progressive.
