Bonanza Coax & RCBS Rock Chucker

I use the Forster Bonanza Coax press for all my sizing/seating chores; I use the RCBS rock chucker for pulling bullets using the Hornady Bullet Puller. I've used the RCBS JR press, the Lee Precision press, and the 5Dillon progressive. Since getting the Coax press 5 years ago I've noted less measured runout and I like the ease of changing dies, simply snap them in and pull them out. Very easy. I believe it is superior to any handloading press out there with the possible exception of the Sinclair equipment which is earmarked for the most avid, most serious bench rest shooters. My two cents....!:)

XL 650, Lee Classic Turret, and a Lee hand press.

I have been getting by with a Lee Challenger for about 8 years now, but am ready to move that one to the side of the bench for lead boolit sizing and lubing, and upgrading to a Lee Classic Turret for handguns, and a Forster Coax for rifles.

Lee 4-Hole Classic Turret

Was going to buy a progressive, but I just don't load enough rounds at any given time to make a progressive worthwhile.

The Lee 4-Hole Classic Turret works great for smaller batches of .45 ACP

I also like that it's auto indexing

I had to vote for Other. I use Dillon 550's, Redding turret, and an RCBS single stage depending on what I'm doing at that moment.

Dillons for pistol and AR, Redding for other rifles, single stage for small runs, pocket swaging, etc.

Hey, Rule, good poll.
Where would you put the "other" category when trying to decipher what went where with the other groups?

Case in point: I load on a Dillon and have Lee equipment too. If I just select other, my votes are lost for the individual presses. Not complaining, just trying to discern the poll and what it is telling me/us.

Personally, I am almost all Blue now. 3 Square Deal Bs, 2 XL650s with case feeders, and a partially converted RL450B. I do have a Lee Classic Cast Turret press on the bench too and, I use it a lot, or have lately, for reloading rounds for my hunting rifle, in 358WSSM, an Indiana deer legal rifle cartridge. It works great for those runs of 50 or less.

Again, good poll! :D

Hornady LnL, Lee Turret, RCBS

Lee Turret is a lot nicer than people give it credit for.Mine has seen over 10,000 rounds now over the years with no issues. Though I must admit you have to get the indexing setup right at the very beginning.

RCBS Rockchucker for my 30.06 and 30.30 and the youngens get to use it to load all the ammo the want to shoot ( they go through mine to fast).
Dillon for my 9mm, 9 mak., 40 s&W, 10mm '357 ,38 ,,45 acp, 44 special ,44 mag , 223 and 5.7x28
I love my dillion even if it turned a relaxing afternoon reloading to a relaxing hour.

I use both an RCBS Rockchucker (for my precision rifle loads) and an RCBS Turret press for handgun calibers, the latter because I can put two calibers on each turret head and leave them set up permanently for those calibers.

THESE " SURVEYS " ALWAYS INTRIGUE ME because I cannot see any earthly use for the "information' they engender, unless you are peddling loading presses. SO, what did you learn from this "information"?

Wil,
The exercise was to see if the "Smurf" crew had a hold on a larger variety of people than on another forum.

Over there, the "BLUE" crowd dominates and the "red" ones, not so much.

:D

Quote "SO, what did you learn from this "information"? "

We learned that the algorithm used to calculate percentages in this poll is wrong.

Other than that, I'm not sure.

I have used Lyman and Hornady in the past, but now I use a RCBS Chucker for special projects and my Dillon 550B for everything else. I wouldn't trade the Dillon for anything.

Jake,
Get those presses out of storage and find a relative or friend that could reload and get them started! Pass it on!
