my 22lrs without a doubt. my milsurps get a bit of use now and then but my AR15s barely leave the safe anymore. 22lr is a nice little gun to have just to run around the mountain shooting pinecones, squirrels, rabbits, and grouse. don't really need anything more than that for those purposes.

my favorite to shoot is my Garand, and plinking with my .22 Rugers is awesome


but I put more rounds through my ar in local comps and training courses

I voted "other caliber semi-autos". I have sporting semi-auto rifles in 17 Remington, 204 Ruger, 223 Remington and 300 BLK. I like to shoot them all and shuffle between them as the spirit moves me.

My little Rossi pump .22lr gets shot more than everything else combined.
I am constantly working up loads with a Rem 700 Varmiter in .223 but shoot the pump during cool down periods.

In terms of # of rounds in 2012...Colt 6920, so I voted semi auto .223 (it's actually a 5.56 though)

Generally the cheap .22lr guns will be shot the most.

That should not be interperted as which rifles are most important to the shooter.

My mini-14, but only because I reload for .16 cents a round. With that the 22lr is more of a loaner gun or when I take kids shooting. If I was paying $5 for a box of 20 I'd shoot much more 22lr.
