this post will show a jury that arrogant bastard might be a trigger happy lunatic looking for a reason to shoot somebody. he quickly reached for his pistol in his pocket when an elderly gentleman at a renaissance fair refused to give up his seats for arrogant bastards family.

First, I didn't reach for my pistol -- My hand was in my pocket as it pretty much always is.

Second, I said he was older, not elderly. I am 38 -- I'm guessing he was 50-55.

see where i am coming from. i don't know much about trials and the laws in Sweden, but here in America if you pee'd behind a road sign in 1974 and its can be used to show malice against your character don't think for a second any attorney worth his salt will definately present it to a jury. Mr Thundermaker...over and out

Long ago in a state that was not Texas I was told you can use the force that is used against you - meaning if a knife is deadly force then you can use deadly force in self defense i.e. firearms.

But, in this instance all you can do is hope in karma and if he would have attacked you maybe it would be better to have your hand on a stun gun or pepper spray cause a .357 against bare knuckles won't measure up to most juries and I wouldn't want to risk the outcome in a trial.
