My older sister and her husband are going through that FL mess that you mentioned in your above post.
CDs, money markets and more... the FED is propping up the markets while they get the average SAVER and/or fiscally responsible, middle class, taxpayer, retired or not AMERICAN. American citizen and/or legal immigrant not the illegal alien = criminal.

What am I thinking?
I really like the Leupold M8 4X that came today.
If I install it on my slug gun and move the Burris to my 338 Win Mag I could sell the Redfield for about what the Leupold cost me.
I am incredibly impressed with the one week turnaround for the repair of my Crimson Trace laser grips for my Taurus 85. Didn't even loose zero.
How I'm glad I gave Joe more than what he was asking for his dad's 742 because what he wanted was too low.
How good that Leupold would look on that 742.

I'm thinking about why I have six non resident carry permits which are useless to me as I currently reside in New York, NY with plans on moving to Connecticut whereas I can carry.
Which leads me to wonder why some people on this site refuse to do anything which involves them leaving their firearm home or in the car for fifteen minutes to run in the store when they probably live in a city/town way less dangerous then my neighborhood.....just a thought, lol.

how much would it cost to support shooting as a full-fledged hobby of mine? 200 or so for the SKS, and if I go to the range, how many time will I go and how many boxes of wolf will I eat through? If you figure that I'd go through about three boxes a trip, then thats about 25 bucks a trip. if i go once a week, then thats 100 bucks a month. But what if I go more than that? Work just cut my hours again since I'm part-time and in school...I'd only make about 250 a paycheck...maybe even less! Crap!

Wondering how my para carbine FAL will shoot with the muzzle brake on.
Wondering when JP is going to ship my brake.
Thinking about my first summer of CCW coming up. I can't get away with IWB in about a quarter of my favorite clothes. I'd really like an ultra-compact Kimber. It would let me wear all my clothes, and I could use it as a backup for my fullsize when clothing allows. But how should I carry it? Galco light shoulder rig under a dress shirt? 511 holster T-shirt? Are my dress shirts loose enough to hide a gun like that under? How many buttons would I have to leave undone to draw effectively like that? How about ankle carry? And a cross-draw IWB if I'm wearing something that can conceal both guns on my belt. I'd want to have the options for all, but holsters aren't cheap and I wouldn't be able to get them all at once. One of them has to come first.
Speaking of not cheap, how am I going to wade through all my bills and unforeseen expenses coming from that free trip to Germany to get a case of Lithuanian .308 before it disappears? And how am I going to save for an Eclipse Ultra after that? Hopefully the semester is done by then. Working full time, that won't be hard. Maybe somebody will give me a little cash for graduation.
What do-dads would I want on my hypothetical LRP-07 two years from now when I'm done with grad school and have a real job?
Is my 1911 zeroed properly for the Indoor State Pistol Championships Sunday? I hate trying to use Kentucky windage while fiddling with the sights between strings. Even if I do completely eat it on the centerfire portion, it will still be fun, and maybe I can put up a good rimfire score. God knows the Pardini is dead on.
