I've shot a lot of .22 semi autos. High Standards, Ruger, S&W, Brownings, Hammerli, etc. But comfort in my hand, accuracy and price. I am rather enamored with my Star Model F.

My favorite is a Smith & Wesson 41, followed closely by a Hi Standard Victor. However, there is a special place in my heart for a 4" S&W Model 34.

I like my Ruger MkII. It is the only 22LR handgun I own right now but I grew up with a few. I like the Ruger revolvers too for accuracy and reliability.

Easy, Old Model Single Six with a retro-fitted XR3 grip frame sporting fancy claro walnut by CLC. No telling how many thousands of rounds have been through it. It's a fun afternoon to burn through a 550rd bulk pack with it.

I said semi-autos, but that picture of CraigC's Single Six made me realize how much I love mine.

My first gun purchase was a Ruger Bearcat, and I still own it and take it to the range from time to time. It's a hoot to shoot -- then and now. But my favorite .22 these days is a Walther PP. It's accurate, reliable, and it eats anything I feed it -- a heck of a good combination.

To me shooting a .22cal single action was tedious work at best.
Most folks don't spend enough time with them to become proficient in their operation. It's painful for me to watch your average shooter fumbling to operate a single action.

I thought that when I got my single six 4 5/8" as a sales bonus....after a few days plinking it was amazing how fast and painlessly I could re-stoke it with bulkpack ammo....I'd shoot the better part of a brick everytime it came out! I fell in love with it...thought I'd hate it when I got it.

the old mkII is still my favorite~!

ive got 3 a single six,22/45 and a tc super 14. the 22/45 for steel chalange the single six for fun (ive had it for over 20 years) and the TC for long shots 50 yds and longer.
