nice stuff, little bit of retro colt's; and wilsons and browns.

anyone have a nighthawk custom?

My Springfield Loaded with the factory action job and the stainless Colt GCT are my equal favorites.

Rock Island , I finally found a pistol I put the rounds on paper with.

I had a Springfield Armory Milspec that was okay also.

The only full size I currently own is a Kimber Tactical Custom II. The reason it is the only full size I own is because it works great for me. I would like an Ed Brown Special Forces in the near future, but this Kimber works.

This one is mine. It's not my absolute favorite full size, but it's in the top three. This one is mint with less than a box through it since 1974. I do really like it.

Goldy -

She's a beauty!

Colt Government Model made 1919. That's NOT an A1 ;)

A re-blue but a sweet shooter.

I tend to move around on what gun I'm carrying. In full size I have my choice between a Kimber Tactical Custom II, a Kimber Desert Warrior, a Kimber SIS Custom, a Taurus PT1911, and a Charles Daly. I also have full sized 1911's in chamberings other than 45, such as 10mm and 38 Super that I will occasionally carry.
The 2 that get the most use though are my Tactical and SIS.

These are my 2 favorites. Colt Series 70 and Kimber Compact in .45 of course.

I recently got a Les Baer Custom Concept III from a guy on here and I'm in love, awesome gun. See why people pay a premium for a semi-custom 1911. Just got a DW CBOB as well, haven't shot it but if it shoots as good as it looks I'll have another keeper.

wow, longhorngunman, where did you get your hands on a dan wesson cbob? those things are more rare than gold!

Bud's gets them in every now and then, just check every so often. When I got mine I think they lasted about 12 hours.

Well i know I am gonna get crap for this but...

I currently own only one 1911 and I love it. Before I tell you what it is I first have to tell you that I have owned two colts in the past, and I could not trust either of them, so I sold them. My current 1911 is totally reliable and very good lookin to boot, save for all the writing on the slide. I will not carry a gun that I cannot trust. I trust my my Taurus PT 1911 absolutely. Flame on.

yeah i'm not impressed with colt's current quality control standards. i've handled a few brand new in gunshops recently that had different issues (one had a thumb safety that was falling off lol, trigger pull weights varied greatly as well as slide to frame fits).

i'm not saying colts are bad, by any means, i would just check it thoroughly before buying. the stuff they made in years past was great, not sure what happened. i had considered buying an xse lw commander (feels great in the hand with that undercut trigger guard), but decided on the springer champion operator-it just has way more features for the same money.

Hard chromed SRP.

Without question my Colt Series 70 reissue in stainless. Sorry, no pics readily available.

I have a few full-size 1911's as well, but there's something about these Sistema's from S.A. that make me smile on the range. I hope these foreigners count in your definition of 1911...;)

My Kimber Stainless II. The only 1911 I have.

It's pretty heavy, but it's really accurate, and I haven't had too many problems out of it.

Custom Colt

My Custom Colt ORM is my favorite. Very accurate, eats everything I have ever fed it.
