Hard choice

It would be a toss-up: Python, bought NIB in 1965 and carried until 1985, or Sig 220, issued NIB in 1985, which I purchased when I retired, after caryying it for 5 years.

Auto: Browning Hi-Power with the Beretta 92FS as runner up

Revolver: Colt Python with the S&W 10 as runner up

All time fav? My Kahr E-9. I sold it.:banghead: Now I can afford the K-9 or even the P9 or the PM9 I can't decide which one to get.

A list of what I have shot (in order of appearance): Ruger P95 9mil (DA/SA variant), Glock 17 9mil, Glock 21 .45auto, CZ-100B .40auto; Colt Series 70 .gov mod .45auto, Taurus M44 .44mag, Ruger GP100 .357mag, Dan Wesson (unknown model) .357mag.

.gov model was/is my fav ... though if the CZ-100B was DA/SA 'stead of DAO only, I would take/choose the CZ.

Favorite handgun

I would have to say that my favorite is my DDR Pistolet Makarova with the serial number AZxxxx!! The markings include a backwards "S" surrounded buy the usual DDR "stars". The action is heads above the other Makarovs that I have and it is VERY accurate!! This leads me to believe that it may have been a "Stazi" issue. But, who knows!!! It's not supposed to be a 25 yard gun, but it is.
I call it my Arizona (AZ) pistol!!! :D

of the ones I own, my Ruger MkII Target.

of the ones I've shot, the one I most enjoyed was a friend's Beretta 92FS - I think they're overpriced and way too big for CCW, but they are a lot of fun to shoot.

It used to be my GP-100 for revolver and a nice 1911 for semi-auto. I think that revolver may change to that new Vaquero .22 I just picked up. That thing is fun.

I'm really not an HK fanboy, but...

Favorite handgun: H&K SP89
Favorite normal handgun: H&K P7M8
Favorite handgun to shoot: H&K USP .45 Compact

I don't know why, but HKs have always fascinated me. I'm pretty sure Die Hard had something to do with it back in 1988.

What can I say, I also like Porsches. :D

My S&W 686-2. My dad carried it for quite a few years as a deputy sheriff before his arthritis got too bad to handle the recoil. When he quit working the road and started working only in the jail, he sold it to me.

Auto: Glock 23
Bolt-action rifle: Remington 700 (.308)

I don't care what people say about Remington bolts. My 700 dropped my deer at ~170 yards with one round. I'm sold.

Additionally, when I get them, a Remington 870 and DPMS AR-15 will probably be my favorite shotgun and "evil black rifle."

CZ 75A (Followed closely by the 75B)

S&W M28-2 Highway Patrolman
