What's YOUR most prized handgun?

I won't bother you with a pic of my boring ole glock 27. I have revolvers and 1911's that are much more attractive. But when I was pinching my pennies to buy my first gun, and finally saved enough I bought the ole baby brick. I was newly wed at the time and thats the gun I chose to hold down the fort with. I've aquired many since then, but none more special because you only get to buy your first handgun once.

Damn I guess I should've kept my high point 9mm, just kidding. First gun I ever bought. Surprisingly it never jammed on me. Though I only put about 500 rounds through it before I sold it to buy a glock 32.

Interesting to see how people value some cheaper guns over expensive ones. Though I've got more expensive guns, my security six is most prized. Guess I'm in the same boat as most of you.

Most prized? Hmmm...the CZ 75B I just bought about a week ago. Its one of those Soviet models that folks on here just love to hate for some reason. Guess thats why I like it: its ironic, loud looking, comfortable, and to me it is sexy. Its not an engraved wheel gun, but Im damn proud of it. #248 of 999 made, and its MINE. Cherry VZ grips just got put on. Im in love.

My blued 6" Colt Python. Taking it to the range is like taking the prettiest girl in school to the prom. Masive :D factor.

I guess I'm confused on this, do you have a picture?
Roll Markings.

My most prized handgun is the one that fired the shot that stopped an assailant, who had a heavy SL-20 flashlight held high, and a knife held low, as he advanced. This handgun just happens to be a 4" stainless steel adjustable-sight Ruger GP100. I own other GP100 sixguns, but this one is special.

The GP100 happens to be one of those perfect weapons for me, anyway. The original-style factory grip seems to have been designed by a long-lost twin, from whom I was separated at birth. The trigger shape and width is perfectly sculpted for my index fingers. The balance is perfect for threat-focused shooting, when perfect sight alignment is not practical, such as in low light, or when environmental hazards obscure one's vision. So, even without the events of that rather interesting night almost 19 years ago, I might have chosen a GP100, anyway.

I'll give honorable mention to my Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special, and a pair of SP101 snubbies with Jack Weigand's "Tame the Beast" package. I have others that are prized, of course, but these are special.

hmmm I would have to say my single action ruger super blackhawk stainless with 4.62 inch barrel in 44 magnum

Gunny, it's the one with red stars on slide, Cyrillic lettering, hammer and scicle roll markings. It's not an ode to Communism, it's a commemoration of it's failure, in a bizarre way. I like it. Pictures are difficult with an iPad, but I'll try.

Here it is guys. It is my most prized. Irony of its markings make it pretty, it's comfortable, and accurate. I love this weapon. Put 100 rounds through it yesterday, first time shooting it actually, and I am proud to report an accurate handgun at 25 yards. My fiancee put the cherry VZ grips on it (love her!) and it is now gorgeous. Thanks for looking.
