Where do you shoot?

There is plently of BLM land, I usually frequent the souther sites off of the sloan exit, but if I need to hit the range say incases of days like today (heavy rain) I usually go to discount firearms. It seems to be the nicest range around. The rangers around here are horrible, with a bunch of cocky arrogant staffers. The gun store has you hang your targets from metal clothes hangers....HANGERS!!! :banghead:

We do a bit of shooting on our property. Mostly .22 rifles with the kids. For all centerfire shooting I go to a public range about 20 minutes away.

When visiting my folks in Indiana, I go to a conservation club where my dad's a member. It's my favorite. We're often the only ones there.

Living in Chicago, however, I have to go out to ranges in the suburbs and pay my hard-earned money to shoot. I went tonight, in fact...

90% of the time i'am at a indoor range,it's a
little warm in the summer but they have very
few restrictions on handguns and ammo.I've
shot out in the desert a few times but now
i would have a 1.5 hour drive to find open
desert.

90% private or public lands. 10% on Ft. Carson for training, we don't shoot near often enough in the Reserves.
