The BHP is a great gun, as is the 92, but I'd say go with the CZ to start. That way you can have a double action gun (like the beretta is) while still being able to carry cocked/locked like the BHP (and the CZ looks a heck of a lot like the BHP too! :) )

was hittin inside the 8ring with about 40% of my shots at 50yards with a cz75 last weekend... made me decide that ill buy one as my next 9mm

I own a Compact CZ 75, I shoot it better than any other gun I own. It has replaced my Kimber Ultra CDP II as my travel gun, but not as my everyday carry. It's just too heavy to lug around all day and not bother my lower back. Mike

I can't imagine a better 9mm than a BHP.

CZs are supposed to be wonderful, but "better"?

Though I have them both, if I had it to do all over again, the BHP would be my first choice knowing what I know now.

i've used the beretta but i do not like it despite the navy's choice for handguns is concerned.

i'd go with the cz or the bhp. both are good guns, grips are similar and comfortable. i'd go with the cz for price, but i like the browning/fn for it's simplicity (can't go wrong with a SA).

All three are classic 9mm pistols which will be remember as the greats. However, I feel that the edge goes to the CZ 75. Which ever model you get whether it be safety or decocker, the CZ 75 is very ergonomic, it has a very smooth and consistant trigger pull(after break in), is very reliable, and is very accurate. You will see some rough tool marks internally, but they by no means effect the pistol's function. Also, I recommend that you stick with the 9mm in the CZ line-up. The .40s and .45s don't seem to do as well reliability-wise as the 9mm.

Browning P-35 High Power a timeless classic John M Browning design the first of the high capacity 9mms going back to 1935 used by more countries than probably any one single other handgun design deserves a place in any serious firearms collectors personal collection.

CZ 75 IMO THE best of the iron curtain handguns so great a design it not only survived the end of the Cold War but it has flourished and spawned copies in a couple different countries and forms, a great DA/SA platform even Jeff Cooper liked it.;)

Last of all and least of all IMO is the Beretta 92 a pistol larger and bulkier than the one it replaced and with less of a service lifespan.:barf:
An evolutionary pistol take a Beretta 1951 combine it with Walther P-38/P-1 add a high capacity magazine and the USA preferred thumb button magazine release and you more or less have the Beretta 92 series.
Had it not been adopted by the US military over the better Sig 226 it would not have become so popular and we would have had the Sig 226 as standard issue and the 228 for those who needed a smaller pistol.:cuss::banghead:

Very subjective.

I don't like the trigger on a HP

I don't like the size and feel of the 92.

I like the feel and accuracy of a CZ.

CZ, particularly in single action, or the BHP if I can rip the magazine safety out and put a no-bite hammer on it. I'm just a single action kind of guy. Of course, there is the Beretta 92 Stock...

The BHP w/ a full mag is perfectly balanced in your hand. A beautiful wooden checked grip is available. It is very easily concealed. My favorite 9mm.
good luck on your choice Sir.

BHP, with qualifications. Those being go shoot it first. I use a very high grip riding the safety on my 1911s. Doing so with a BHP pulls the web of my hand over the tang of the frame pinching it between hammer & frame. Therefor I have an Israeli clone (Kareen MKII) with a beaver-tailed frame tang.

After that I'd go to the CZ-75. The 75 Compact would actually be my first choice, because the standard 75 is a bit too tall in the grip for my short fingered fat hands. The 75 compact still has a longer grip than the XD compact, and has a 14 rounds mag capacity in 9mm.

After those two the Beretta 92 brings up the rear in terms of my preferences, primarily because there is no single action only offering.

As you can see what you choose will depend heavily on gun fit and operation preferences.
