I was just wandering around my local Walmart (East TN area) and they have a new AR15 style rifle from Sig Sauer for sale. Full flat top design with pretty nice handguards, a brass deflector, and forward assist for just under $900.
I'm shocked. I probably shouldn't be, but I am. They always have plenty of bolt action and lever action hunting rifles but I never thought I'd see Wally World selling an honest to goodness Evil Black Rifle. Don't get me wrong. I'm was really happy to see it, just surprised. I always felt like they kind of distanced themselves from the whole "tactical" crowd. Maybe that's just because I've never seen anything like this there before.
Maybe they have started to realize how much money there is these kind of rifles? If they would sell good quality ARs, AKs, and M1A based rifles I think they would find a real market for them.
And just to brag, I texted my wife and told her about it and all she texted back was "Do you want me to go online and transfer some more money into your spending account?" Man, did I marry right or what? LoL
