WTB – Pietta Walker or Dragoon – Any Condition.

This is an opportunity to turn an old gun into real cash money. It is part of the Walker Long Range Express Project (LRE).

This project is moving forwards now and the intention is to have the ‘carbine conversion’ available for any of the commonly available ‘Horse Pistols’. Most of the repros are at least slightly different and the main current work is on the adaptor housing for the detachable shoulder stock.

Sltm1 is handling that area and has already come up with a great design that avoids having to cut the recoil shields.

I have just bought an ASM Walker that is going straight to Sltm1 for fitting out. Now I want to move on into the Pietta or any other original brand name.

The gun does not have to be fireable or even working. It MUST have an undistorted case, receiver, frame (whatever you wish to call it) so we are looking at el-cheapos that we can use as experimental stock.

Weapons wanted are Walkers, any of the Dragoons but preferably 3rd Model.

You do not have to ship to Australia – only direct to Idaho and we will pay shipping.

Uberti is to my knowledge the only company making the Walker & Dragoon revolvers today, I know that ASM & Euroarms made some back some time ago but not now & Pietta never did to my knowledge.

Just trying to cover all the bases of what may be around.

The LRE is not intended as a business venture but if anyone wants one it would be nice if they could convert an existing weapon that they already own.
