When it comes to guns, I've always favored cosmetic appeal over any other characteristic.

That being said, I've always liked the look of a Colt Trooper Mk III/V... blued, of course! That's what I'd like to cone home with for 1K.

Alas, I'm only 20, so I'll probably end up getting a Uberti replica of a Winchester M1873. I've been working all summer towards one. I've dropped a lot of money on milsurps. I'd like a new gun I can really play with this time around.

Not many of the guns I'm lusting after are that cheap! But for $1k I'd probably take either an HK USPc in 9mm, a P2000 with a light LEM trigger, a P30 with the LEM Match Hybrid trigger or a P2000sk with the LEM.

I've been hooked on Savage bolt action rifles lately, and I would get another one. Probably the 12 Bench Rest in 6mmBR with a 1 in 8 twist.

I have a rifle in 6mmBR but it's a 12 twist. The 8 twist allows heavier / longer bullets to be used.

These go for just over a grand street price, but to me they're worth it.

I've got plenty of guns, my 1K would be going for upgrades to those I already own. Some grip work and a CT laser for my Glock and some upgrades for my 10/22 TD & AR15.
