I like the short guns,
I like the long ones, too,
I like the blued ones,
And stainless steel, too!

what the...??

:banghead::banghead:

"Hey Bob, what kind of Ford is your favorite?" asks Jim.
"Why, that would be a Camaro, Jim!" replies Bob.
:uhoh::confused:

6" Model 66 was the first .357 I shot and is still my favorite. Sweet. If I were to get another it would probably be a 4", though.

shooter & carry

I like my Colt python the best for shooting pleasure. I do not carry a 357 magnum , I carry the Colt detective. But if I did , I like my Ruger SP101 a lot.

l would have to go with my Ruger Blackhawk in .44 magnum....

just kidding, I read the topic

I would be a little general and say any K frame, which for now means my model 19-4. I'd really like a 65 with 3 inch barrel for carry.

I think if I left the K frame I'd look at those 327's with the snub nose barrel and 8 shot, moon clip cylinders (again, for carry).

I really like my 28 with the 6" brl. I shot a 686 a few months ago, I hate to say it , but I loved that revolver. I still carry an auto most of the time. :what: Carry revolver would be my mod. 12-2 or my ruger SP101 3". :cool: I love wheel guns.

640 J-frame

Probably because I only have J frames. They are both carry guns.

The 640 is easier to shoot well and a lot more enjoyable than my 340.

I wear the 640 on the belt. I use the 340 in a "city slicket" shoulder rig for backup. Occasionallythe 340 sees primary duty in a belly band or my coat pocket when concealment factors require that.

But my favorite is the 640.

I'm not really a .357 guy, but I confess I have an SP101 (Ruger) and I have been looking at Smith's M&P R8. I'm not sure why, but it hits a chord with me. Just might be in my future, IF I can find one. Hard not to be thrilled with 8 shots and something less than 40+ oz

I love my JM 327. The 5" titanium version, 8 shot cylinder, moonclips and probably the nicest trigger I've got, right up there with my Nighthawk and SVI SA guns. The balance is unreal!

It would be a toss up. In a way it would be my dads 2" model 19 for no other reason is I grew up with it. I would have to say MY favorite is my 4" model 13. Man of all the guns I own it makes me look to be a far better shot than I am. It is smooth as butter DA and breaks like glass SA. It started life a squared butt. I wanted a round so I made one I added Pachmayer grips and wow its awesome. It is also one of the cheapest guns I have ever bought another reason I love it is its value. I mostly carry 38+p but it is my favorite 357.

My 1939 Registered Magnum. 50 shots, 15 yrds offhand with a stout load of 2400. Any gun that makes me look this good is a great shooter.

I just picked up my new to me Model 65 with 3" barrel. All I can say is, this is my new favorite. The balance is great. The action is awesome. I love this gun. Now I need a model 13 w/3inch. Anyone want to sell one?

Here are my choices:
For carry and handling, S&W 66-4 4inch and Ruger Police Service Six 4inch
Best all around, S&W 686-3 4inch
Best at shooting 357s, S&W 28-2 4 inch
Strongest, Ruger GP100 4 inch.

I own all of the above. It took me awhile to fine these.

8-day waiting period? And I thought the 3-day waiting period IL residents had was :cuss: -- nice revolver BTW.

My favorite... has got to be the M327PD. 26.5oz weight, 8-shot capacity, and beautiful finish. Shooting .357 Magnum really gets the adrenaline going with the sharp recoil from this lightweight.

Years ago S+W made a small number of model 19's with 3" barrels and fixed sites. (If I remember correctly a contract gun for the French police?) I'd love to find one of those one day! I'm also partial to Brian Williams' model 65 with the 4" pencil barrel.

OK... they're not mine, but they're still my favorites!:neener:

I tried out my 65 in the smartcarry today. Fits perfectly. I love this gun (although my colt lawman is still my favorite, I do believe.)
