My first firearm was a H & R youth model .410 single shot. My dad bought it for me when I was six. I still have it and recently got the firing pin fixed so my seven year old son could use it. Suprised me, we went shooting a few weeks ago and I could still hit skeet with it fairly well, even with the short stock :D My family has always been big on hunting and still is, I was hunting alone with my second firearm when I was eight, a winchester 30-30, took a four point's horns in for show and tell, teacher was not amused (they were still fresh). Still have that one as well.

Anybody else ?

Showing my age.....but......

I was 12 and ordered a 22 single action out of a Herter's catalog with a $32.00 money order. My mom had to sign the order form and a couple of weeks later, I got a pink slip in the mail, so I rode my bicycle down to the Railway Express office (before UPS) and the clerk handed me a cardboard box out of the safe and I rode back home and shot the hell out of it! Amazing that a 12 year old kid can just pick up a firearm all by himself back in those days! :D .....I later traded it for a Mossberg 22 rifle...wish I kept that old pistol. :(

First gun of ANY kind: Anschutz 1907

No, I didn't have a bb gun before that, can't remember why. I did have a SAA cap gun though, but I don't count that.

AMT hardballer. Boring reliable, with "I actually hit it?" accuracy. One of these days its gonna get rebuilt into a tackdriver, but acc-u-rails are expensive...

First one, 20ga SxS shotgun. Dove, pheasant, trap gun.

First one I bought myself, Chinese SKS.

First gun was at 21, I bought myself a NRM Colt Government.

I did my research, wanted the classic style. I didn't even know about extended thumb safeties, external extractors, FLGRs, ext mag well, bull barrels etc.... All I wanted was something that was reliable, and a reputable company. And that name yelled COLT. :D

First firearm: Ruger 22/45, last February.
First rifle: Ruger 10/22, also last February.
First shotgun: Remington 870 Express Turkey, this May.

The GP and the 92FS were my first two firearms. After that it gets kind of fuzzy... ;)

The first weapon I ever fired was my dads S&W .357 when I was 4-5 !! :what: he held onto the barrel so the recoil didnt break my wrists... to this day he talks about how badly his hand got fried from the discharge out the side of the cylinder.... now that I think about it..... that was crazy heh... that same day he let me shoot his F/A m16, He held onto it and I pulled the trigger

First shotgun: Single shot .410..... I honestly cant remember the make or model... I was around 6-7 though...

First rifle: Marlin 30-30 when I was 12

Second shotgun: Remington 870 that mom bought me when I was 14, still got it, wanted a shotgun so I could do everything I wanted with one platform, partridge, deer, ducks, goose..... Love that gun.

First handgun: dad gave me one of his p89's when I was 17. (he had a few dozen for his security corporation so I figured he could spare one :D )
