Used to be 9mm (Glock 26), but that was replaced by 380 when I got a Glock 42 (real sights, full-size gun ergonomics, the least recoil I've felt in a centerfire cartridge, familiar operation, 7+1 capacity with Taran Tactical baseplate). I will probably only carry the G26 or G19 when I'm overnight camping. This is the first time I've ever been completely satisfied with a carry gun.
Same for me, I switched from my long time favorite gun G26 to a G42 last month. Its just so easy to shoot well.

9 mm most of the time here also. But once in a while it's a 357 magnum. Beyond 10 yards or so I'm usually a little more accurate with the 357.

Mostly in the .355 to .357" range for conceal carry, there must be over a dozen cartridges in those diameters.

I always carry a 9mm Glock. A Gen 3 19, to be exact. I chose 9mm for a few reasons: It has long proven itself to be an effective self-defense round. It is half the cost of .45 ACP and also less then .40 S&W, so it's more affordable to train with. It's the most common handgun caliber in the world, and you can find it just about anywhere. It also has light recoil, so that means fast follow-up shots, if needed. And with my G19, I have a very respectable magazine capacity of 15+1 in a compact, easily concealable package.

I have come to believe that the Glock 19 is the closest thing to a perfect concealed carry gun that currently exists. I am "a believer". :D

9mm all the time now, did carry a .380 when clothes didn't allow for the 9. Picked up a very small 9mm and it has replaced the .380.

Usually glock 43 with extension. Kydex aiwc. Quickest with this setup. Can usually put two within three inches at three yards from concealment in less than a second. When I want to carry a little heavier it's usually a glock 27 same setup. Adds about half a second to my time. (And I'm not young;))

Even though I carry a 9mm and sometimes even a .40, I actually carry a .22 magnum more than anything else these days. I carry a Charter Arms Pathfinder Lite in .22 mag. Its a 12oz. J-frame sized snubby. Its easy to shove in my pocket and so light, I barely know I am carrying.

It might sound strange, but it is sometimes mood driven. I'll walk over to my gun safe, and decide that one of my guns looks quite beautiful that day, and wants to be carried. Seriously. It could be a 1911, or it could be a BHP. I refuse to discriminate. I ensure the whole family gets plenty of time with the parents.

I used to carry a 45 exclusively but, ever since I met Arthur, (arthritis), I only carry a 9mm. Usually the R.O. in my avatar.

To carry every day, it's has to be comfortable. I prefer a 45, but 9mm is so comfortable I usually carry 380. Just like I wear 34 size pants, but a 36 is so comfortable I wear 38's. For some reason, I find my preferred carry caliber is inversely proportional to my waist size. If I gain any more weight, I will have to start carrying a 22:D

Then you must have voted 380, right?
