As to not hijack another thread.
I'm asking the mods to allow a friendly RIMFIRE challenge that developed on another thread. Anyone is free to join in per rules listed.
Print the target, scale to fit an 8-1/2 x 11 piece of paper. 3 shots per bull, total 12 shots / 120 points. 50 yards, any sight, any position. NO LEAD SLEDS or BENCH REST COMPETITION BIPODS. Standard folding bipods, front and rear bags OK.

Post a pick of your target below with details, rifle, sight, ammo, position ...

The original thread ended with some challenges but no way to carry them out.

I had to print via WiFi from my iPhone using a Canon app. What I got looks like a 3 5/8” target, sound right for scaling?

Yup, black bullseye should measure approx 1-1/2"

Ok, looks like we are shooting for score and not for group. Mine are sighted off the aiming point so I can still see the aiming point.
I can change, I guess, if I have to, I guess.

Yup, shooting for score complicates the matter. Close but tight ain't good enough. But that's why I also only went for 3 shot per bull to not totally tear out the aimimg point. Three shots in one hole should be fine.

@ford8nr thank you for setting up the challenge and I wish you straight shooting. I’ve got a half box of Thunderbolts and a Chiappa Badger with missing front sight that might surprise you! :rofl:

Glad we could set this up, should be fun.

I think that Badger deserves better ammo even without a front sight. I'd go with nothing less then Golden Bullets.
Looking forward to target pics. Unfortunately I won't be able to shoot for at least a week.

I don't think I can see these at 50yds without a scope! This is a true challenge for me! Thanks for setting this up ford8nr. This is going to be fun.

I had that same thought as I considered iron sighted rifle choices. Win 75, Rem 521T, CZ99, Kim 82G ...

What I would say can be allowed is take a target, blacken the outer scoring rings and place it over the scoring target. Shoot through the modified target into the scoring one. Make sense ?
If I remember right I need at least a 3" black bull for 50yd irons.

While a competition, we still need to have fun !

I hope to put some rounds on target Saturday, I will try to “prove it” with the 22lr at 50 and maybe even th 308 at 100 because why not?

FYI, my 10/22 is a 2moa Gun At 50 and 75, 100 it’s a little more wobbly

Man oh man this is gonna be a blast. Does anyone have a link to a target we can all use so everyone uses the same one. My 10/22 will have some fun when I get the chance. It's 100% stock except it has a cheap walmart scope
