Nice!Back to burning up cases again. Trying to clean up a buddies brass supply. I've got him in all RP I picked up at 300 pieces. Now I'll cycle through the supply 100 at a time and anneal them. Not fancy....View attachment 1208271
Shoot. The only thing wrong with your handwriting is you’re not educated enough. Wait till you get your PhD. You’ll write so terrible even a pharmacist can’t read it.I have some terrible news for those of you that love to read my chicken scratch hand writing, and decipher my lists of load speed data.... I was blessed with the opertunity to get a Garmin and it's inbound.... some things aren't as sad end but a new chapter now I get to test if it's easy enough for a Silverback to operate....View attachment 1208309View attachment 1208311
Looking forward to hearing about this! Could you post a close up picture of your cases? Your flare looks excessive. My USED rcbs uni hand primer was missing the large parts and they sent them for free ( thank you RCBS!) so I primed and belled 50 cases. Ready for my PC’d western bullet 240 SWC Kieth bullets courtesy of AJC1 . Also my new 44 Lee factory crimp die came In. Going to whip up another 50 for this runView attachment 1208303

Because if a Silverback can do it, anyone can... . It's just a matter of procedural steps and compliance....
Watching you reload necked cartridges got the wheels turning. I gave up on them in the late 90s and decided only straight walled carts from then on. But I've been thinking about 223 for quite a while. I can see me going down that path later this year, or early next. First I have to get my 9mm plinker semi-auto rifle, then the Colt 45 Lever. THEN, the 223.... but it's now on the agenda!

Well, I went to the loading bench, started to set-up for more .38 spl and decided, ahh, what the heck. Popped a cold one and did some yard work. Did that for about 30 minutes or so, and thought, WTH are you thinking!? Straight back to the bench. Whoo, I've been saved! .38's in progress!
I don't use any of those bits, but you should get what you paid for...Amazon just delivered my Lyman Case Prep Multi-Tool REPLACEMENT. The one I posted a few days ago was missing the pocket reamers and cleaners that you see in the bubbles on the lower right of the packaging. I really thought this one would be missing them as well as the package is not well designed and opens on that side to let them slip out. But they actually are in there. Now all I have to do is send the original one back.

Thanks for posting the close up. Must have been the lighting and angle. The cases look fine.I’ll show you tonight when I get home. I don’t feel it’s excessive. Might be optical illusion. The beveled projectile sits in there snug. Doesn’t hand seat to the lube groove. But has a nice pop when you pull the bullet. I zoomed in on that pic. There might be some residue on some that makes it look excessive
Great!!! That’s probably my next “big” purchase….I have some terrible news for those of you that love to read my chicken scratch hand writing, and decipher my lists of load speed data.... They have evidently changed some of their policies. I ordered my Lyman case trimmer from them, and it showed up with no pilots. It was supposed to have nine of them. It was supposed to be one of those repackage deals of theirs. I tried to get them to just send me the pilots. They would not do that. They told me to just throw that one away and they would send me a new one. I told him I didn’t really want to do that. So they refunded my money and told me to just throw it away they did not want it back. so I took nine dollars of the refund, and bought the pilots… I ended up with the trimmer for nothing.Amazon just delivered my Lyman Case Prep Multi-Tool REPLACEMENT.
