63 and carrying the same .38 Colt Agent since '74. When I find a better carry piece I get it.
He carries it every single day everywhere he goes even in places he shouldn't carry. I guess people let him be just because of his advanced age.
And next year, he has to get a Smith 61, right?Smith 60.
It tends to make me a bit overly cautious maybe. I do carry when I come to the big city of Columbia, Mo. every 6 mo. to take my Pastor to his Opthamologist. Glock 23 or 26 with an OWB/ B.H.Serpa with a pull over shirt and the mod 36 in my pocket. We usually stop at the Olive Garden for lunch on the way home and you never know what kind of hoodlums you'll find in there. (you may be attacked with an aluminum walker) Actually, I feel pretty relaxed visiting Columbia. A nice little city.Well, I'm only 54.5 but -
Jonah71, are you the OTHER me???
I'm in Columbia MO and don't really do a lot of big-city stuff anymore either (unless I HAVE to) and I ALSO keep my ONE good eye open and travel a bit slower with a limp (orthotics/both feet) .....
I carry a .45 Colt Defender most the time with either a KelTec380 or a .38 Ultra-Lite close by....
...Being slower and half blind, someone may mistakenly consider me an easier target - but that'll be a costly mistake....
