Can't vote in your poll because you don't allow for multiple choices. I carry both a Glock and a 1911 Compac, depending on circumstances and clothing style.

I didn't know what to vote for.
I'm 22.
Pocket carry a .25 automatic or a .38 derringer.
IWB carry .32 S&W-L 6 shot revolver sometimes.

I voted 30-39, 1911 for mine. It is really a Sig P238. Oh so small and just feels right. It gives me the higher percentage of carry that I was looking for. My other carry is a Kimber CDP Pro, but I just love the size, weight, and feel of the P238. Super easy to throw on and almost forget about it being there.

55 years old and I never carried a high cap firearm. Started with a taurus 85ss revolver for 20+ years then a KT pf-9 and now a kahr CW or CM9.

Interesting results. Apparently, regardless of the age group, the "modern polymer style handgun" is most popular.

I'm 61 now.

I carried a Colt diamondback for many years, Ten years ago I recieved a S&W mod. 4553...( dao ) that reminds you of a 1911 at first glance. I've carried it exclusivly.

69 - In younger years in Alaska I used to carry .44mag and .357 revolvers mostly. Nowadays I have plastic pistols. .380 LCP for summer wear, Taurus 740 Slim .40S&W or Taurus 24/7 PRO .45 when jacket weather returns. I might be getting older than dirt but like the new lightweight poly framed autos.

Hello friends and neighbors // I'm 49 -- I've gone from carrying a 6" 586 whenever possible as EDC to carrying a S&W 442 as EDC.

In the last two years I've started carrying a CZ 75B .40sw or a Dan Wesson 15-2 snubbie in urban areas(when ever possible) and the 6" 586 in rural/woods, as well as the 442.

Upon purchase of the CZ, I started taking classes to help push my learning of a semiautos manual of arms (much different than my life of revolver shooting).

I don't regret a minute or a dime and now have as much confidence in the semiauto as the revolvers.

I also tried the CZ 2075RAMI .40sw (steel model) as back up.
I was not accurate enough with it and soon found the 442.

Guess I need a 442 in .40sw as well as .38.
