Ak 47 help..

I recently purchased a WASR.

It will shoot into 1 inch at 96 feet. Does not jam.

I did cut myself on the dust cover (I will fix that). The front sight post is not in perfect alignmnet (I may be to come up with a simple fix for that). The trigger needs some work (I will fix that).

In todays money at $350 it was good deal. I will improve the front (replace with something more visible) and file the rear to be wider and less deep.

I suspect there may be some bad romanians out there since QC does not appear to be super important to century arms, but I am happy with mine.

I despise any Krink that isn't an SBR, but they are awesome guns, no doubt.

Just pretend your 8 inch long "flash hider" is something other than a pipe welded to the end of your gun.

That is until you register that bad boy and lop that ridiculous metal boner off the end of your rifle.

Sure you don't just need a sight adjusting tool? Mine was a little off laterally, out of the box.

How do you use a file to make the rear sight "less deep"?:)

Sell your Mini 14...

Traded mine, actually, for the AK.

I just bought a WASR 10/63 on sale for $300. The new ones seem to be better and mine has the G2 trigger group already. I wanted a project rifle to work on and so far I'm happy.

Gun Lover, the quality in all commercially available AK variants is solely in the hands of who assembles it. The Krink has a legendary reputation, in original form, but when put together by a retard it is easily outmatched by a $250 Saiga.
