This one is a little different. We all have different interests, and different reasons for owning firearms. Me, I go hunting, hiking, fishing, to the range, and I have weapons for home defense and concealed carry and for bug out.
I'd like to limit your guns to some of those purposes. Pick one for each of the following. It doesn't have to be a gun you have, but can be your pick of the gun legally available to you. Some of your guns may serve a dual or triple purpose; however, pick no more than one gun for any specific purpose. As in, if the category is concealed carry, you can't pick one for summer and another for winter. Just pick one. That's the game if you'd like to play.

The categories and my choices are:
- Big game (exclusive of turkey) - I choose my H&R single-shot 32" barrel with peep sights designed for me that I can see in any light.
- Turkey - Savage bolt-action .22Magnum.
- Home defense - A Springfield M1A, no scope.
- Concealed Carry - Colt Cobra .38Special.
- Small game - (this is one category. Can't split into different guns for different animals. Squirrels, rabbits, grouse, pheasants, quail, etc. Thanks Heaven this is not a reality, but just a game.) My choice is a CZ over/under 20 gauge with screw-in chokes.
- Range - the same M1A.
- Varmints - ground hogs, coyotes, or whatever you have in your area. I again pick my M1A.
Let's see what gun you'd chose for each of those purposes, and remember one gun per purpose.
