I have decided to add back in my SD9-VE to my ccw line up. I have no problem in concealability with this weapon. It has been 100% rock solid since I bought it in 2014. I just stopped carrying it when I got my Shield. (Thats a sweet gun also)
But I am gonna get er back in the circle of trust :)
By the way. My SD is every bit the equal of my G19.

I used to carry one until I came upon a deal to trade for a really good canoe with somebody who needed a handgun to defend their family business NOW and the nearest gunshop was many miles away. I liked it. Was fast to action, and always reliable in any conditions and I do put gear to a test here in MN. I now carry a FNS-9 that I like slightly better, mostly due to the trigger pull being superior.

I carry a
SD9-VE
on a bandolier holster around my place and I have it on now at 11:15 PM central time. I can smell the well season smell of sweat coming off holster. It has never jammed. It is accurate but slow to fire because of the 10 lb plus trigger on this gun. The trigger is a safety feature to me. For CCW on the street I use a glock 19 with a relatively much better trigger and the safety device (Tau: Striker Control Device (SCD) replaces the slide cover plate on your Glock pistol. ... The SCD provides an extra layer of safety when holstering. ).

I also at the moment have a .38 5 shot revolver with snake shot in it in a pocket holster. Once it gets colder and the snakes go away I will quite carrying it.
