Anyone, Besides Me, Wanting to De-Tacticalize?

To the OP'er: you say you have the physique of Kevin James, OK, and you don't see yourself needing the tactical guns and related gizmos. OK. And, you're ~50yo. OK

50 is not old. Not if you take care of yourself, and there's still plenty of time to improve previous habits. I'm a hard-charging fireman, and at 34, i've had my share of surgeries, and likely someone else's share too. But I exercise regularly, eat reasonably, and work on healing my body after I injure it.

Have you given some thought to working on getting in better physical shape? When it's easier to move around, you may decide that how you like to shoot changes. Perhaps longer hunting trips, IDPA, or 3-gun, or ?????.

Keep the stuff. If nothing else, you can use some of it to teach and positivley influence a younger generation/newer shooter.

Don't we all owe it to our country to be prepared to fight for it if we have too? I hope it never comes down to it, but I plan to stay mentally and physically as ready as I can... just in case.

This is NOT intended as a put-down, but rather a message of support! Don't give up now, 50 is young! I've never met you, but i belive you can do it if you are willing to put your mind to it. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it, that I promise you! :)
