At what point will you start buying primers again?

It will be a bit before I need any after my purchase of SPP from TargetSports… but it is scary to think I have stuff for under $20/k still left. I ideally would like to see them for under $55/k total. The ones marked over $100/k I can tell you I definitely did not pay that either. I believe I have not paid over $87/k on any.

I ran my spp down to 3000 so I bit the bullet on 10000 at $85, it hurt but I did not want to stop shooting. I will treat them like pm's and buy them as the price continues to drop, plan to have enough by summer to shoot for the next five years. Got powder close to pre covid prices. Got a couple thousand fmj 9mm from Everglades. At least primers can be sourced.

wow... I have not been looking at primer prices n see this thread... I am old and remember the 60.00 for 5000 primer pricing from our gun show suppliers in the eighties. I bought a bunch back then. Wish I would have bought more ... I did get 1000 209's for a blackpowder gun I got a while back for 69.00 but thought they would last a while.

For the better part of three years you could barely find them in many states and usually only 500 at a time. Many media sites ignored the fact that they were unobtanium.
