How many shooters do you know that have actually held a P99 let alone shot one?? I know I had not until my Son bought one this year. Now I am in love with the P99 AS and the PPQ. My favorite pistols easily next to my SIGs and very close to them.

I have quite a few 9mm. pistols and the best one (for me), is the one that fits me the best: the Browning Hi-Power.

i guess it's time i vote in this one and stand with my fellow forum members.
the OP didn't define "best" but i guess he's making us pick just one. i sure would hate to have just one. a p7m8 is super thin and compact enough for me to use as a front pocket carry(if a tad heavy for my liking) and a sig p226 elite or MR baby eagle II makes for a heavy hunk of all steel which i also really like,..but if i can only have just one..

I picked the Ruger 89 because it is a a medium size gun, has a double stack magazine, but if I did not care but concealing I would go with Witness in 9mm nice size and holds 17 rounds, in stainless with wood grips, but than it was not even in the choices.

The BERETTA cougar is very hard to beat -ask the wife, but the HK USP is my personal favorite.

There is no better 9mm than a Browning HP...IMHO
I've fired a Hi Point 9mm. 40s&w, and a .45acp and they are not bad pistols. Decently accurate and very reliable. I've never read a bad review about them yet!
