Well, there wasn't a comments section in this article. She was angry that somebody tried to post her address. I guess eye for an eye didn't feel too good. The part where she was in the parking garage had a simple solution. Slow down, relax, step aside and let him pass.
Without a pre-engagment plan it is hard for a beginner to ad-lib very well.
I was asked a question in a training session, "What do you do to prepare yourself before you go out on the town?" First the guys answered then the girls. I was surprised how much fear women walk around with.

Another post tracked by the government.
Surprized? Then you haven't been paying attention. (That sentence is not so much intended for you, but for all other readers. You are now on notice to pay attention, and apparently are doing so. Good for you.)

Yesterday two of my co-workers made arrangements to walk out to their cars (less then 100 feet away from our front doors) together. This was in broad daylight at 6 PM and their cars were less than 100 feet from our doors in an open parking lot with no bushes or hiding places nearby. There was a report of a rape on Thursday in the area.

As politically incorrect as it sounds, women have to think like prey.

How many women do you see jogging alone? Without a dog over 50 lbs? In pairs or groups?

It's different for women. It's wrong, but it's true, nonetheless.

ON another subject:

I do see that it is hard to cut Heidi Yewman any slack, given her agenda and attitude. But I tried to send her advice she might be able to use to find the truth of the matters she is investigating, but got nowhere. Not that I expect anyone to read the opposition, but I have to give her the benefit of the doubt. It's the "High Road".

You mean like traveling in herds and trampling predators to death?

Been to a mall lately? That's how they managed the halls at high school, too. Like a territorial herd, they'd trample you for trying to go around.

Anyway, even a fawn knows how to kick and headbutt, and most women know how to get nails and keys or a purse into action. They don't intentionally decide not to grow antlers, or blunt their hooves down so they wouldn't have them against a predator.

MOST of them jog alone around here. Where do you live, Chicago? Detroit? Some other Democrat Utopia?
Anchorage, Alaska.

Not sure what the political affiliation of muggers, rapists or bears has to do with anything, though.:D

I don't recall ever seeing a woman jogging with another woman in my area--same for men. No idea if any of the are carrying, but since I have no plans to assault any of them, to me it doesn't matter.

Other than organized events and the occasional man/woman couple, running seems to be a solitary activity around here. It is for me.

Mostly, the gun in my house causes me an anxiousness and fear that’s draining.

Physically taking the gun out of the safe and putting it in a holster on my hip literally reminded me that I was going out into a big bad scary unsafe world. There were days when I put the gun back in the safe and stayed home because it simply took too much energy to be scared. It was easier to be at home without the worry and responsibility

This column makes it patently obvious that the "problem" here is the person who has an irrational fear of an object.

All of this gnashing over a hunk of metal and plastic that she did absolutely nothing with except carry around.

Frankly it gave me a headache to read that. I mean an odd comparison might be the rantings of a crazed killer as strange as it sounds, you know the stuff you never actually read.

So question, because I probably missed it. Did she ever actually have a round in the chamber?

Oh yeah, and see my signature.

I don't think she ever bought ammo. Remember the part in the first installment where she was afraid that her gun dude had sold her a loaded gun and then pulled in behind a cop on a traffic stop in a panic? Somehow I doubt she ever went past that.
