Very nice!I finally got a chance to get out back and take a few cracks with this thing. I must say, it is rather impressive. I went right after a load that my Freedom 83 shoots right good, 11gr of 7 under 125 xtp, and this Colt here shot it pretty fair for offhand, 25 yards. I've got to play with the sights a bit as i had to hold a bit high on the bull, but my final target of the day with it wasn't bad, with 2 in the same hole, and a lowball from trying the last one double action. It certainly is a fine shooter right out of the box, the only thing better out of the box, well, it had darn well better be, is my 83.
The only downside was the thread a few days after I bought the thing about another broken new Cobra. Hopefully I can avoid those gremlins with this one, and I sure ain't gonna sweat it. But I certainly won't be considering a KC Carry for a carry revolver.
Nice little piece, I'm happy with it. Reckon if these first impressions hold, it was worth the price of admission.
Still too wet out here to get the tractor out and set the benches, but the ponds full. This revolver is soaking , think I'll throw a Mepps on and see if one those lunkers is hungry.........

doesn't look like a lot of break-in will be necessary.
My KC seems to have a preference for 3.2 gr. Bullseye and 125 gr. LSWC. Same as the S&W M15. Same for the Python.
Haven't found the right load for the GP100 tho. Since acquiring the ponies, the Ruger has been more or less just taking up space.
