Must be a 9mm
Total length: less than 6 inches
Total Height: less than 4.5 inches

How do you come to this conclusion that it must be any of the above said.
I prefer a revolver. Either 4 inch medium frame in .38 Special+P or 2 inch D frame .38 Special+P. I picked other, and I just specified

If it has to be small and it has to be a nine - it has to be a Sig 239. That's as close as I'll get to the stated criteria.

Heck, I can't *hold* a pistol that's 4.5" tall or less. It's too freakin' dinky to fit in my hands....

Glock 26 :)
If you don't like Glocks... get a Springfield XD Subcompact.

If either are too big, get a Kel Tec P3at.

Did not like shooting a P11...no vote

Skyys are POS...No Vote

the Kel Tec PF9 has promise, but let them work out the bugs first (I'll wait for the 2 gen)...No vote

Kahrs seem nice, never shot one

Kahr CW9

Switch to the CW9 with a KAngaroo holster from a G33... never been more comfortable and this gun has worked flawlessly.

Currently Im toting around a Walther PP (chambered in .32acp). This particular gun was made in 1957 and was delivered to the Bavarian Police. Good enough for the Bavarian Police means good enough for me.

If it has to be a 9mm, I voted other and suggested a G26 due to your specifications in size. How ever, I had a G26 and ditched it on the third day of a three day/1000 round defensive handgun class at www.tacproshootingcenter.com in favor of a G19. Now, although the G19 is a wonderfull carry gun and packs alot of firepower in it's small size, I find myself pocketing my 642 in a Milt-Sparks pocket holster a heck of alot more due to it's sheer ease of concealability.

Flip.

My Kahr PM9 broke (frame cracked). Gone!

My friend's Keltec P11 had a terrible trigger and was unreliable....gone!

The P3AT was unreliable...gone!

I have no experience with the others. For guns that small, you may want to stick with the old standbys: S&W J-frame revolvers or the Glock 26 (ok, not so old).

For CCW, I prefer larger guns like the regular frame Glocks, S&W N-Frames with Ahrends Tactical Stocks, Browning Hi-Power, or a Sig.

It's all in the gear. A holster with proper forward cant can easily facilitate the concealment of a large handgun.
