So the last remaining hope on the mag ban is that Hickenlooper won't sign it because it will cause a large hit to the economy.
And that hit to the economy is a direct hit to the 300 or so people who will no longer have a job and their families. So its like making about 3000 people (between friends, family and suppliers) really angry. Don't know if it helps in 2014 or not.
I don't know yet what the potential political fallout will be. It is bewildering to be criminalized while absolutely nothing is done to prevent the mass shootings they are riding as their cause. The impact of this nonsense will not be fully understood for a good long while.
I am going to work to get the change put in place politically. RMGO is a great group that will be able to get enough boots on the ground to make a good concerted effort.
We will also work the Constitutional amendment angle. It can be put on a ballot pretty easily, getting it passed is another hurdle.
