Defective Winchester Ammo

I think the commentators are talking about the principle of making it appear that this was a fresh, recent incident, instead of putting a disclaimer in the first post stating that you already posted about this 5 years ago but wanted it out of the archive section.

Speaking of, I find it interesting that you edited the OP but did not add anything stating that it was 5 years ago and has been posted previously, apparently on this forum and at least one other.

I'm not going to lower myself to the level some or you seem to be so eager to stoop to. I stand by my right to freely express displeasure with a company's product and service even if it was several years ago. It's not about the $, it's about the principal. A quick google search turns up dozens of other people with similar experiences including damaged guns. My decision to post my experience on other forums I frequent is also my business. My intent is to tarnish wichester's reputation solely for their poor product quality and lack of care for long time customers. They don't even make their guns in this country anymore people. I give it 5 years and winchester will be a 100% foreign company. Btw I would have edited my original post but there is no option to edit it.

You haven't been a customer for 5 yrs but still carry a $10 grudge?

I understand principle.... but put in to perspective.

Its 7 rounds of ammo. Its not like they disgraced your family name or dated your under aged daughter.

Alright fellas, yall succeeded in making me feel like crap. I guess it's easy jumping on the band wagon to bash somebody but not as easy to apologize for being nasty. Yall have gone from me lying and purposefully making defect reloads using my food recipe to making the whole thing up because the ammo is tarnished? Go handle some fresh brass with sweaty hands and wait a day or two. I assure you they will look exactly like that. Then I was a liar because I didn't post a lot #, i posted the lot# on the box then i was deceitful because I shared this on another forum. Then I am so terrible befause this ammo is not recent but from a few years ago.

The attitude of some of you in this forum is down right nasty! I've seen this happen on other forums. A couple folks say something nasty to a post then everybody jumps in to get in on the action to bash a particular person. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves!

The core of the problem people have with you is that you mis-represented your case in order to influence them. You wanted people here to join you in being angry at the ammo maker. Effectively, you tried to use them.

If you could turn back time, and re-post this by saying "hey guys, 5 years ago Winchester sold me a box with 7 defective rounds in it" then people would have said "hey dude...that was 5 years ago...its not relevant."

But you didn't do that. It would seem as though you did this in a continued effort to in your words "tarnish Winchesters reputation."

It would seem as though you tried to trick people, and now you are upset because they caught you. If you can't understand that people will be angry with you when you try to pull the wool over their eyes...then you should expect to be in more of these situations in the future.

Look into the mirror to see the real answer.
The brass is tarnished beyond normal handling marks.
The rims look like they've been extracted violently.
You are trying to garner up sympathy for something that happened 5 years ago with deception and half truths and WE should be ashamed for calling you out on it?
