Anywhere that charges 300 bucks for a K-31 won't get my business (was there on Friday last week).

You mean the one that was sitting next to the $399 Norinco SKS and the $499 Russian SKS?

:)

I'd head over to Clarks Brothers in Warrenton to check it out.

Don't bother with Clark Bros.....they don't really stock anything other than bolt action rifles anymore and their prices are HIGH.

+1 on going to Virginia Arms in manassas....ever since I found those guys I can't stay out of their store....and everytime I walk in I find myself spending money on something.

I have never once seen an AR at The Gun Shop in Front Royal. The guy that runs the place usually carries a good bit of higher end odd things and he imports alot of Martini .22s. If you need a Bush Master AR it would be alot easier to go into Winchester a pick one up at the many gun shops there.

I've never seen them. I guess they not near the Berettas, B. Rizzinis, Colts and Coopers. :)

BTW, Clarkes Brothers prices are also obscene. Especially ammo. I refuse to do business with a place where 20 rounds of Wolf 7.62X39 costs 9.99.

Well there is that, but at least the use of the range is free, (you have to buy ammo there) so it about evens out if you'd have to pay range fees somewhere else. The problem is the ammo cost the same to "carry out" too.

Yeah that one. I was in there last Friday too to ogle humpbacks, 16 gauges, 16 guage humpbacks(none there), and .44 leverguns. I saw the K-31, since I own 4 it would have to be a screaming deal for me to buy another. That price tag made me want to scream. Clark Bros. has horrible prices too.

Don't press your luck by doing this, "It is an assault weapon but not illegal for you to buy. I say buy somewhere else and then bring it by the store later to show off your new gun. After a few ''DOAT!'' moments they may change policy.

It's 18 to buy that rifle. Print out the applicable law, along with the summary from the brady bunch and take it to that store.
