Did you carry for Halloween?

I wasn't drinking on that night so naturally my LCP was in my front pocket while I took the grandkids Trick or Treating. I did load up a couple silver bullets in the top of the magazine just in case.

No. But, one was close by. I did answer the door with a 100+ year old glass kerosene lamp in my hands in case a zombie was at the door. I could crack it over their head and watch them burn. One zombie did come to the door but she was about 14 and a stunning knockout. I gave her a pass......I told her that if she was old enough I would offer her a martini as a treat. I don't think she knew what a martini was.....or...she was trying to figure out how to convince me she was 21....It is a hoot to pick on the teens when they trick or treat..chris3

Had a G.I. 1911a1 in my bowling bag as part of my costume. Host and hostess at my party were both carrying as part of their costumes. Probably the most heavily armed costume party I have ever been at.

Halloween makes me a little nervous because it is the one night of the year when people can go out in public wearing masks and disguises and no one questions it. If a criminal wanted to conceal his identity in order to get away with something, this would be the night to do it. For exanple, at no other time could you walk into a convienience store with a mask on. I was down at the corner store getting gas on Haloween and some guy came in wearing an old man mask. Everyone had a good laugh as it was a neighbor having fun. Nothing happened except that he bought something but if he had decided to rob the place he probably could have gotten away with it as no one knew who he was.

Yup, passed out candy all night with my sidearm right where it usually is. Nobody said anything or acted any different.

I did carry on Halloween. And if I did not carry much of the time, that would be the day/night that I would carry. This year it was uneventful around here. I remember a couple years ago their were a pair with masks that were out doing armed robbery's.
