LA....Lower Alabama, I think. The tinfoil confuses
Not wanting to hijack another thread, but I think I'm asking a different question. First, let's keep to THR rules and avoid political/social comments, please.

If I do not agree with a view that a business has, I avoid buying/trading/shopping with them. I avoid several businesses because of their social/political views, but we will not go there. I do not want to support any business that does not support my beliefs. I do not know of any businesses that are anti 2a, so please enlighten me.

1. Do you not do buisness with companies because of their anti 2a views?

2. If yes, what businesses? Please only anti 2A.

Yes. I avoid, to whatever extent possible, any business that caves to the PC crowd.

McDonalds, Levi's, banks that bar CC (here in NC it's their decision), etc.

There are more of "us" than there are of "them". Vote with your wallet.

Some of the ones that come to mind are; Jareds Jewlers, Toys R Us, Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, many banks (not all) and if you look in the Activism section you can probably see some more.

A few PRO-2A chains; Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and plenty more.

Never had to, but I do avoid businesses already because of a variety of reasons.
So it's no stretch for me to do this.

Yes sir.
I will absolutely not do any business with anyone who is Anti-2A.
Such as Toys R Us being one. I also have a pawn shop here who carries their firearm but will not allow its customers to carry.

I understand it is their decision and that is fine.
I will not go their nor buy anything. Plenty of other places that will accept carrying.

Bank of America, AARP, Federal Gov't , Kinkos, UPS stores- all are anti 2A

I also have a pawn shop here who carries their firearm but will not allow its customers to carry.

Most I have seen do the same for safety reasons- too many yahoos pulling out a loaded gun and sweeping everyone

I wont shop at places that are posted. My safety is more important than saving fifty cents on a gallon of milk. Criminals by definition do not obey the law. No gun signs are like telling your customers that you dont care about their safety.

Generally speaking, no. I shop where I get the best value, service and quality. I don't have the time to research every place I shop (local, regional, national). If there is an egregious violation of my values, I'll find an alternative place to shop, but I don't have a check list or anything.

Equally as important as taking your business elsewhere... is the need to let those businesses you 'pass up' KNOW about it. Else...your efforts are of little effect.

That is crap! People still bring in loaded guns to sell, not knowing they are loaded, or just plain not caring. The only thing those ridiculous policies do is piss off responsible law-abiding citizens who carry concealed. Who really pulls out their carry gun and sells it on the spot in store...?

On a separate note:
Right after the toys-r-us opend before last Christmas, I went in to get some items they were running a sale on. Apparently they had a 2x2" no guns sticker on the bottom right corner of their fron door, hidden by a garbage can, that I missed. When I accidentally exposed the spare mag for my Glock I was carrying while retriving my wallet, the lady at the cash register gasped! and said "SIR, is that for a gun! You can't have that in here!" So I said, sorry, I'll take it out of your store right now. And left my cart full of items all over her register and never came back in. And I have never been back. I know that concealed mean concealed, but in NC, open carry is legal. So if you have your CHP and expose you gun, or spare mag, you are still ok, just like if you carried it openly. I don't care how good the sales are, I won't shop there again.

Used to. There was one place in the local mall that had the anti gun sign showing a black revolver and a red circle / over it. I never went in that store. Doesn't matter now as they went out of business.

Strange thing, they had outside doors and no signs there, only on the entrances inside the mall.

Get a grip Kimosabe......most of the yahoos aren't selling but trying new holsters or other accessories and then you hear KABOOM, followed by an <removed>, and I'm sorry - no different at gun shows or a big box like Gander

It's a liability thing, and until we, as responsible gun owners stop that BS, more stores will post no carry allowed, because when the yahoo NDs and hurts someone, the store gets sued

First off, I worked in a gun store for years. Putting up a sign will not change the legal standing of an ND. You are either on the hook regardless of signs, or clear just the same.

Secondly, a good store supervises it's customers and provides good one-on-one customer service, and prevent NDs. They also have case models or blanks (blue plastic replicas) to fit holsters to. If they don't, shame on them.

Lastly, my original comment is still correct. Never seen a person pull out their loaded carry gun to sell on the spot. Stupid people will be stupid, no sense in taking it out on others. That is the same mindset antis use...don't go there.

I have no use for, and cannot support with my sweat, blood, and risk, and money,... any business that supports political views that are not aligned with my own. (2A) (pro-America) (NRA)...etc.

Sorry, I just can't and won't do it. Often it costs me money or convenience.....but I won't.

Yes I do avoid buisnesses that are un-American. I even have a buisness card that I give them with a gun with a line through it=no$. On the baqck side it enumerates the fact I've been trained, vetted by the TBI etc. Then it asks if they can vouch for their other customers?

Not really. I carry in places even when it says no carry allowed. Benefits of being an LEO. Shortly after the Aurora shootings I went out to the movies and they were doing pat downs. It was a different county outside my jurisdiction so I let myself get searched. Found my ccw first and I told him to pat the other side where my badge was. We got along just fine after that.

No. There are other, far more important, issues for me. Environmental considerations, economic freedom considerations and so forth. A gun will do you no good if you have no job and no where to hunt and can not feed your children.
