Does your spouse get tired hearing about guns

Mine has no patience for listening about anything gun related, after 20 yrs, she lost interest in anything I have to say about guns. I guess it's age more than anything and she doesn't shoot anymore at all. I dragged her to the range about a year ago, "just so she would know how to handle a couple guns", and she had no interest whatsoever, her lungs bother her also, so I suggested an outdoor range, but she has resigned herself to an almost anti gun stance. She hated the AR's and sees no use for any other than 1 or 2 guns in the house.
I am considering trading her in.
 
My wife handles my enthusiasm with a ton of grace-especially my spontaneous buy sprees like whenever I see a pinned and recessed K frame, for example.

That said, I'm pretty sure she gets tired of my anti-anti outbursts, usually about some sort of stupid thing going on in CO, or Bloomberg or the latest Obama move forward email about some petition pushing some sort of BS legislation.

She's taken the stance of "I know you've studied this endlessly and you're right, I'm just tired of hearing about it all the time" and I've taken the stance of not watching any more YouTubes of Piers and the like--both for my blood pressure, and for my marriage.

In all, she's cool; doesn't even bat an eye when I drop 3 bills and a weekend to go play with Janich or Farnam. Can't ask for much more than that out of a blonde hottie (at least on THR).

Mine is a middle school English teacher, we try to keep from talking too much about each other's day job. She doesn't want to know all the intricate details on fitting a 1911 safety and I could care less about the newest piece of paper she has to fill out in order to send a hellion to the office.

We do discuss highlights; "I finished my barrel" or "I caught kids doing shrooms in the mop closet."
 
She would if I talked about guns with her. I know she's not interested, so my sons and I don't go on about guns when she's around.

And I nod my head politely and don't listen when she talks about the differences between a B flat and C clarinet, and how a Buffet is better than an Amati.

Recipe for 45 years of happy marriage.

The ONLY thing my wife doesn't like about guns is not being able to buy everyone she wants.

Does she get tired of hearing about guns ?

She is absolutely fascinated by every aspect of guns and everything related to 'em.
Mmm...so i'd hafta say that's a NO !

No wait !!! She does indeed get tired of hearing that she has to wait a spell twixt gun shows.
She absolutley loves doing them and is quite and inspiration and ambassador to the ladies at gun shows that reeeealy would rather not be there but go for thier husbands or boyfreinds anyway.

Lemme put it this way...
Does this woman look like she could ever tire of anything guns ?

When I talk guns, I think my wife hears the voice of Charlie Brown's Teacher.

But she is willing enough to shoot when it strikes her. Even if she turned anti on me (she definitely won't), I'm keeping her because her cooking is worth all the guns in my safe.
 
Mine gets tired of hearing about them from time to time, but even then I'm usually the one who keeps going on... and on... and on... ;)
 
Awwww man yea...last night right before bed she told me she didnt want to talk about guns anymore..thing is, i didnt even think i'd been sayin much but i guess i was...at least it was new stuff though:) i think

its gotten so bad, im trying to go all day without mentioning them today. Doin good so far, but havent seen her yet!
 
Mine doesn't tire of it because I don't talk about it. But she sure complains about the gun/military stuff I watch on TV. She does roll her eyes about my reloading though, says I "have enough bullets to blow up the city". I make sure not to let her see all my guns or ammo all in one place, she'd have a cow!
