I like the shape of the Winchester hollow points.
Thanks for the reply I just got a brick of Aguila standard to see if it shoots as good or better than my cci standard. Kind of sucks cause I ordered 800rds of cci standard yesterday but it still says processing.Aguila Super Extra / Standard Velocity shoots the best of any I've tried in both my CX 457 and Tikka T1X. Never tried any real good stuff and I'm far from the best shot but I'll settle for all groups ( 5 shots at 50 yds) <1/2 inch and the occasional one that's < .3 inch any day.
Did you notice any accuracy change between the CCI and the Aguila?I shoot a lot of the Aguila super extra standard velocity. A few years back when I couldn't find my usual CCI standard I bought a case of the Aguila standard velocity. It shot just as well in most rifles for me and was cheaper too. I still like the CCI but I'm fine with either one and use the Aguila equivalent just as much.
The comments on the smell are true, smells like some sort of glue.
For me, CCI SV and Blazer 40 gr Lead RN consistently produced single hole 10 shot groups at 25 yards while Aguila 40 gr Lead RN produce comparable, slightly larger groups with 40 gr copper plated RN/HP producing larger 10 shot groups yet smallest of all copper plated RN/HP 22LR I tested - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-thickness-for-accuracy.850634/#post-11113638Did you notice any accuracy change between the CCI and the Aguila?
It’s a hard pill to swallow when you ad $15 shipping. I did order some other items too so it’s not so bad.Buy a box and shoot it.....Problem solved.

at least 6 places within 10 miles that have a huge selection of 22LR in stock,, and fairly priced too.
@bassjam the rifle I was referencing earlier is a Mark II as well, it loves the CCI blazer and gives solid .75" groups with that ammo consistently.
Sounds like I need to try some of the super extra HV through it!
