Welcome to the club. I've been in trouble more than once because someone who didn't know me took me seriously. My voice is monotone and boring, kind of like me. I have been accused of having a dry sense of humor and some folks have said they can't tell when I am joking sometimes.
I anticipated ammunition manufacturers to start using RMR bullets
Another ammunition manufacturer is using RMR jacketed bullets - https://www.facebook.com/rmrbullets/photos/a.164961740263755/2361355770624330/?type=3&theaterOnce the word spreads that ELEY chose to use RMR for their match ammunition, other ammunition manufacturers could switch to RMR.
Yup! From rags to riches while we watched (and ordered). Pretty soon Jake will be rubbing cuff links with the "millionaires and billionaires" a recent president used to complain about !!
The only thing Jake needs now... the only thing he doesn't have... is a theme song !
So what we have here is his very own personal theme song,
as sung to the theme music from the "Beverly Hillbillies".
♫ Come and listen to my story 'bout a man named Jake,
A poor mountaineer, 'bout to starve for goodness sake !
Then one day he bought old bullets on a whim,
So he started sellin' seconds, pulls, and blems.
(Shined every single one by hand, he did.)
Next thing you know old Jake's a billionaire,
Kin folk said, Don't go to Commie-fornia, even on a dare !
Said Lewiston is the place you wanna go,
So they started shippin' bullets from their home in Idaho. ♫
(He don't need no stinkin' movie stars !)
Look for the CD in your next bullet shipment !
Theres nothing wrong with the 115s . Just looks like your gun prefers the 124s.
We tested the accuracy of the 115s with our shop PCC that seems to love 115s. We were shooting ground squirrels past 50 yards with them so I know they are accurate so long as the gun likes them.
While I like W231/HP-38, I have gotten smaller groups with other powders like Titegroup, Target, Bullseye, BE-86, etc. Also, you used two different powders. HP38 is a great powder but almost never gave me great accuracy.
Agreed. All that really matters with the base of the bullet is the edges of the bases.
No Glock 22 and KKM 40-9mm conversion barrel with Fab Defense Universal Scope Mount and 2-7x32 scope on Caldwell rest (Bottom of trigger guard was rested not bottom of rail) at 25 yards - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...endence-from-work.853305/page-3#post-11211204Was that with a pcc?
I had that same mount and it simply would not stay put on an XDm. I bought this one from IMI as recommended by a THR member and it is rock solid on the same gun.I am having technical issue of mount getting loose on Glock's polymer rail
I am noticing that IMI mount has two screws instead of one screw of Fab Defense/Mako USM. That may be the reason for greater stability.I had that same mount and it simply would not stay put on an XDm. I bought this one from IMI as recommended by a THR member and it is rock solid on the same gun.
I added a second screw to it and it still moved on me.I am noticing that IMI mount has two screws instead of one screw
Hopefully rock solid.Just placed an order on Amazon prime and will see how it does with heavier scope.
SSUSA said:The bullet is loaded to an overall length of 1.253 inch and varied by only 0.001 inch
SSUSA said:Para Ordnance wide body with a Caspian slide and a 5-inch Kart barrel. Accuracy was assessed at 25 yards with the gun in a Ransom Rest.
The average of five, 5-shot groups measured 1 inch.
