Fantasy time: What do you wish for?

An ideal addition to my battery would be a Single Action, either Colt or Ruger, (if Ruger, then a Three Screw) medium frame, flat top with adjustable rear sight, 7 1/2" barrel, case hardened frame, and in .32-20 W.C.F. caliber. Such a gun in a New Frontier, for example.

As to revolvers, I'm past the double action stage now. But back in the day, I yearned for a Colt New Service, .44 Magnum, tricked out like a Python. Then to have a boxed set of Diamondback, Python, and Pythonized New Service.

Yeah, that would have been nice to have.

A Ruger Standard mark series in a centerfire caliber like .25, .32, or .380.
Just because I'd like to see if a few extra inches of barrel length improves the performance of those cartridges as well as having a simple and familiar form factor.

My wishes are mostly ammunition related. I want the ammunition manufactures to get on board with the resurgence of the 10mm Auto, and finally start offering full power loads for this versatile, high performance auto pistol cartridge. I want a 10mm Auto Federal HST load featuring a 190 gr HST designed specifically for the 10mm, not just a regurgitated .40 S&W bullet, pushed between 1200 and 1300 fps from a service length barrel. I want Winchester to do a 175 gr PDX load running a legit 1300 fps. I want to be able to buy my 200 gr Hornady XTP loads at 1250 fps directly from Hornady, not loaded by Grizzly Cartridge Co or Double Tap. I want Remington, Speer, Federal, Hornady, and Winchester to all offer full power 10mm Auto.

A SIG P227 Legion SAO in 10mm Auto would be awesome. As would a Ruger PCC in 10mm Auto. And a CZ SP-01 in 10mm Auto.

I want to make it official. I want the 10mm Auto to not be the red-headed step child of the shooting world, to finally gain the mainstream acceptance it deserves. I want for people to realize it never went anywhere, and it is the real .40 caliber fighting cartridge, even when they've been proclaiming it dead for a quarter century.

Beyond that? I'll have a Coke...

I'd like to see CZ create a true Bren 10 based on their 75B action just like Jeff Cooper dreamed of with the Dornhous & Dixons attempt.

I like that GP100 in .41 mag idea.

For me, gimme some 10mms with 6" barrels:
-CZ 97
-Arex Rex Zero
-High quality 2011 at a reasonable price

I'd also like a New Service in 44 magnum, royal blue but standard profile of the 1917 Army model. I suspect that would be an engineering challenge as the cylinder walls are pretty thin in 45.

A 9mm DA/SA decocker-only, the size of the S&W Shield. Preferably in alloy or steel frame.

Yes, the Chief Special 9 is almost that, but it's fatter and no matter what the 3rd Gen aficionados say, I think the trigger sucks on these things.

The Rami is close, but both the Rami and CS9 need a 3-finger grip. And to be slimmer and less snaggy.

I think sig has one too, can’t remember the model

I think we did this a few years ago, but trends, interests, and forum members change. So let's just have fun.

What handguns do you wish was made that doesn't exist and has never been produced? Let's try to keep it to reasonably possible guns, not absurd could never happen guns.

For revolvers, I want a stainless half lug GP100 chambered in 41 magnum, with a 5 inch barrel.

For autoloaders I want a Sig Saur P227 Legion in all steel, chambered for 10mm. Standard barrel length, or a 5 inches. Fixed night sights.
Give Ruger a little more time and maybe they'll make one. They already have GPs in 10mm, 357,327 and 44spl half lug/5 inch. They've come out with several new GP models recently.
