So i want to buy some ammo from them but im very wary about who i send my ID to these days...can anyone assure me its safe? anyone else bought from them and faxed them ID?
I e-mailed a scan to them - no issues. All the major ammo vendors want a FOID card (Illinois) or driver's license before they ship ammo, powder or primers.

On-line tobacco vendors also require a copy of a Driver's License, which they keep on file to verify your age. I wouldn't think twice, so long as the site is legit.. its standard practice for any age-restricted items.
It's all good until the information you sent them becomes compromised. How do they check that the copy of the ID they receive is the person sending it?
i emailed them a scanned copy and put in the subject line my order number. got an email back from them within 5 minutes saying everything is good to go. smooth.
AIM Surplus is good people. They won't screw you over. If you go there in person to buy a gun or ammo, they take your ID and make a photocopy and keep it on record.
