Finally got a 357 levergun

Nice, I’d like one someday just as a toy. Both of my lever guns are in 30-30. I like them but 357 would be higher on the fun factor list, plus a lot cheaper to shoot.

Well for my 20th anniversary my wife let me pick this up last Thursday. I didn't get to the range till today, with all the rain around here. The Henry ate everything we put in it, except the 170gr Keith style bullets.( I honestly wasn't expecting them to work anyway, but got to try them to make sure).

We put roughly 150 down range today, and hoping to put more down tomorrow. It doesn't have a side gate, but it's a beauty and one heck of a shooter. Wish I would have gotten one years ago.View attachment 942095 View attachment 942096 View attachment 942097

Congrats.. Very nice rifle. I just (well a few months ago) picked up a Marlin lever in .45lc. Just curious to know what you will use yours for?
