I was wondering first off if anyone here has tried this out and if it feeds reliably? Also how many more rounds of 9mm wil a g27 mag w/a +1 extender hold as compared to a stock 10 round g26 mag? Last what is the legality of this? I think its legal as you are not uping the number of rounds over 10 9 +1=10.

If the mag happens to hold more of the smaller 9mm rounds then this won't make the mag illegal right? I figure this is a legal way to up the capcity of my g26 w/o breaking the law. I was going to add a glock 19 mag to it but they are very pricey and add to much lenth to the guns grip. So hows the reliability of this set up? I have heard that glock .40 mags work flawlessly in glock 9's is this true? At any rate I'd be testing it out at the range before use. thanks

I'm not sure how many 9mm the 27 magazine will hold, and I'm to lazy to go and try.

Sure, this may work as a range mag.

But please don't use this to protect your life. If something jams, you may well die, with 2-3 extra rounds in the mag.

9mm will NOT work in .40 cal Glock mags. It may be expensive but just go get yourself a couple of Glock 19 fifteen rounders.

It sure does. I typically load 14 9mm in a Glock 23 10 round mag and it functions just fine. In fact, in about 1000 rounds I have never had a failure.

Really? I specifically tried using 9mm in .40 mags and vice versa, as for a brief time I owned both a model 26 and 27. They most certainly did not interchange.

Over at GlockTalk, the only .40 magazine they talk of successfully interchanging is the G-23 mag into the 9mm G-26 pistol. With some mags there are no problems with feeding, but with others the mag lips have to be bent together very slightly. They have the exact dimensions on the other board.
