I found it interesting, reading those a few years ago, that C&S Metal Werks is right down the road from me and had something featured in an issue.

Punisher.....

From what I remember the Dolph Lungren version of The Punisher it wasn't very good & had a few weird scenes . Lungren played; He-Man too.

The 2000s era Punisher was produced in Tampa Florida due to $ reasons and co-star John Travolta wanting to be close to where he lives(Ocala FL). The Florida location was interesting IMO but I agree that actor Thomas Jane was a bit off.
Making Frank Castle a CAG/Delta Force operator & ex-FBI agent was a bit much too.
The Warzone Punisher film was okay but also had some minor flaws. The gun use & action scenes were cool. See www.imfdb.org . The actor who played Punisher also played GI Joe bad guy/sapper: Firefly in the feature film sequel(which was a real stinker ). He did seem to match the Marvel Comics version of Castle.
