And yet another ammo shortage thread.
And yet you add to it by posting in it...
Steve Milbocker,
Like you I have altered my shooting a bit.
For convenience I belong to an indoor range a few miles away, otherwise it’s over an hour to the nearest outdoor range. After things opened back up going to the range was a bit of a hassle but it was nice to be able to go. Then “the silliness” happened and people started buying up everything.
I have changed my range hours so that I am there before they open.
The range has been crowded because half the range, 6 lanes, is being used for CCW and new gun owner safety classes.
The range is full of newbies and Nimrods teaching newbies...Nimrods that think everyone else can benefit from their vast knowledge as they yell instructions at their newbies...Grrr
But yesterday I was delighted that the ammo shortage has finally sparked a ray of sunshine...(standby for selfish statement)
The range wasn’t packed with people. There were several open lanes. It was nice. I could shoot without being crowded and rushed. There was a Nimrod there with 3 ladies he was “teaching” but the range wasn’t packed with a waiting line and people that can’t keep their distance.
Also, I am shooting a lot more .22 and less 9mm and .38 / .357. But that’s only because I haven’t been reloading. That changes today.
