I almost died laughing after reading some of these posts. Although my firearm arsenal is smaller than most of the guys on here, I have been known to leave one laying around from time to time - however that kinda stopped since my daughter started moving around. My wife grew up in a hunting family so none of this is strange to her. Somehow my daughter still finds ways to find the odds and ends that dont get picked up. Oops.

Within arm's reach is a .223 carbine, .45 ACP pistol, .357 revolver, and at least three knives...although I've gotten better at putting stuff away and cleaning up. When you have trouble getting to your clothes because you have to dig your way through ammo and weapon accessories, it can be annoying...

The freezing is among the many reasons why I don't carry the 1911 (or anything else) IWB. Always a shoulder rig. That way, anyone brushing against me will say "I was right. You are a cold-hearted bastage."

You come back in and the aroma of fresh bread, oiled steel, leather, and Hoppe's just take you to to a better time and place. It is positively Little House on the Prairie. Could make a fortune bottling that smell.

Add just a trace of wood smoke (maple, I think), a subtle hint of WD-40, and some Yardley's lavender soap, and I'd wear it. DH would be all over me too.

Nope, luckily it isn't as bad with red grapes, white is what really kills her, but that marsala I made did not work out well for her. We had some benadryl in a first aid kit, I couldn't figure out why the two boxes of it that I just knew we had were awol, then the next day at work I discovered them in my desk. Whoops.
